SHIPPING POLICY
1. General Information
We handcraft your furniture to order and organise deliveries in planned waves.
Neither WOODLANDEA nor our delivery partners can store orders for long periods or hold them for an open-ended future date.
Please make sure you are ready to receive your order within the timeframes we provide.
2. Customs, duties & taxes
For deliveries within Europe, the final price shown on our website already includes all applicable customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees — no additional charges on delivery.
For deliveries outside Europe, local import duties and taxes (if applicable) are the customer’s responsibility and may be charged by local authorities upon import.
3. Where We Deliver & Service Types
Germany, Switzerland, Austria
- Free delivery on orders over 1,000 €. For orders under 1,000 €, a delivery fee of 150 € applies
- Delivery into the room of your choice
- Assembly of your table / bench / base where applicable
Other mainland European countries
France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Greece, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria (excluding islands and regions without road access).
- Free curbside delivery on orders over 1,000 € (delivery to the building entrance / curb; no carrying inside and no assembly). For orders under 1,000 €, a delivery fee of 150 € applies
Northern Europe (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland)

- Service type: curbside delivery (delivery to the building entrance / curb; no carrying inside and no assembly)
Large tables are heavy. For all curbside deliveries, please ensure you have one or two people available to help carry the items into your home.
Islands & regions without road access
We do not deliver to Islands or areas without road access. Any such orders received will be cancelled and refunded.
North America, Asia, Middle East, Australia & New Zealand
Delivery can usually be arranged on request. We will provide a shipping quote based on the number, size and weight of the items.

4. Shipping Schedule & Transit Times
We usually dispatch orders from the workshop every two weeks, typically on Friday or Saturday.
Transit time depends on the destination country but is usually 5–9 days from the moment the goods leave the workshop.
Our delivery partner will contact you directly and will do their best to provide a 4-hour delivery window for arrival.
5. Rescheduling & Failed Delivery
Furniture deliveries require coordination of trucks, drivers, and (where included) assembly teams.
You will be informed of your delivery date and time slot at least 2–3 days in advance by email or phone.
If you need to change the delivery date or time, please inform us as early as possible.
Rescheduling fee
If you are not available for the confirmed delivery slot or if you request a change too late for us to adjust the route, a rescheduling fee of 169 € may apply.
This fee covers the additional logistics, storage handling and re-booking of assembly teams (where included).
Even when delivery and assembly are free in your region (for example Germany, Switzerland, Austria), additional or repeated delivery attempts outside the original plan are chargeable.
6. Customer Responsibilities & Access
To ensure smooth delivery, the customer is responsible for:
- Being at the delivery address during the agreed time slot.
- Providing accurate contact details (phone and email).
- Informing us in advance about parking restrictions or the need for special permits, and any narrow streets, limited access, steep stairs or other obstacles.
- Providing any required parking permits before the truck arrives.
If we arrive and parking is not possible due to missing permits or restrictions not communicated in advance, we may only be able to offer curbside delivery and/or charge a rescheduling fee for a new attempt.
7. Multiple Items in One Order
If your order contains more than one item, we will ship them together whenever possible at the best available rate.
You will receive a single dispatch confirmation with delivery information for the combined shipment.
8. Packaging & Waste Disposal
Our furniture is packed securely in cardboard and/or MDF protective materials to ensure safe transport.
Delivery prices do not include collection or disposal of packaging.
All packaging materials will be left with you, and the customer is responsible for their disposal or recycling.
