Will I need to pay tax or duties on my order? (Europe)
For deliveries within Europe, the online price already includes VAT, import duties and customs clearance fees — there are no additional charges on delivery.
What about customs duties and taxes for deliveries outside Europe?
For deliveries outside Europe, any local import duties, taxes, and clearance/handling fees (if applicable) are the customer’s responsibility and may be charged upon import. The exact amount depends on your country’s rules.
Shipping & Delivery
What are my shipping options?
We organise delivery to your address across Europe. In Germany/Switzerland/Austria we deliver into your home (room of choice) and assemble where applicable. In other European countries we deliver curbside (to the building entrance).

How much is delivery?

- Free delivery on orders over 1,000 €. For orders under 1,000 €, a delivery fee of 150 € applies

Do you offer free delivery?
Free delivery for mainland Europe on orders over 1,000 €.
How long will delivery take? (production + transit)
We aim to produce our furniture in around 9 weeks, depending on size and model. Delivery within our free delivery countries takes around 1-2 weeks. For other countries it varies case by case. Please contact us for more information.
When will I receive my order?
Once your furniture has been built, we will send final pictures and we will tell you the delivery plan. You should usually receive your furniture between 1 and 3 weeks from the final picture.
Do you schedule a delivery appointment?
Customers receive a 4 hour time slot when the driver should arrive.
Can I choose a delivery date / time window?
As we use our own drivers and we have many orders to deliver we are unable to offer a lot of flexibility. However, we will endeavour to meet your needs if enough notice is provided. If we are unable to deliver as requested, we can make a new delivery slot for the following delivery tour.
Can you hold/store my order until a future date?
Unfortunately, we can’t store completed orders for an extended period. If you need a later date, please contact us before production is completed — we’ll do our best to align with a suitable delivery tour.
What happens if I’m not available / miss the delivery?
If you are unavailable on your given time slot and date and you have not informed us you will be charged a redelivery fee of 169 €.
If you have provided us with at least 48 hours notice we will reschedule your delivery for a different time. Either on the current tour or the following one.
Will all my items be delivered together?
Yes, we always endeavour to deliver all items ordered at one time.
How can I track my order?
We’ll keep you updated by email (and WhatsApp on request). Once production is complete, we send final photos and confirm your delivery tour and time slot. Because many deliveries are made by our own team, a standard tracking link may not always be available.
Delivery Options by Country
Delivery service levels
We offer two delivery service levels depending on destination:
- Standard delivery (curbside): delivery of the packaged furniture to the building entrance/curb. No carrying inside, no stairs, and no assembly.
- In-home delivery (room of choice) + assembly where applicable: delivery into your chosen room and assembly for eligible items.
The service level available for your destination is shown in our Shipping Policy. If you need in-home/white-glove service in a country where it isn’t listed as standard, contact us for a quote.
What does “delivery into the room of your choice” include?
When in-home delivery is available, our team brings the packaged furniture to your chosen room. For destinations where assembly is included, we assemble eligible items on site. Packaging removal is not included.
Do you carry items upstairs / to apartments with no elevator?
When in-home delivery is available, we can carry items upstairs (including buildings without an elevator) where access is feasible. For destinations with standard curbside delivery, carrying upstairs is not included. If you require this service, contact us for a quote.
What does “assembly where applicable” mean?
We assemble furniture that requires on-site assembly (model-dependent). This does not include any additional installation work outside standard product assembly.
What does “curbside delivery” mean?
Curbside delivery means we deliver the packaged furniture to the building entrance/curb. It does not include carrying items inside, upstairs, or assembly.
Can I get white-glove delivery outside the listed in-home countries?
Yes — in many cases we can arrange white-glove delivery on request. Please contact us for a quote. This may affect delivery timing.
Access / Fit / Packaging
How can I check if a furniture item will fit in my property? (doors/stairs/lift)

What are the package dimensions and weight?

Can the furniture be taken apart to fit through narrow doors or stairs?
All our furniture is delivered flat packed to enable seamless delivery.
Does the table arrive assembled?
No. The furniture arrives flat packed.
How is the furniture packaged?
In cardboard and/or MDF packaging. Delivery does NOT include disposal of packaging.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Please inspect the packaging on arrival. If you notice any damage, take clear photos and email us immediately at contact@woodlandea.com. We’ll resolve it as quickly as possible.
Order changes, cancellations, returns
Can I cancel my order?
If you decide to cancel the order before production has begun, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
If you wish to cancel after work has commenced, a fee of 25% of the order value will be deducted from the refund to cover already incurred material and labour costs, as well as planning and administration related to the order.

Can I change the material or color of my order?
If production has not yet begun, yes you can. There may be price increase or decrease related to material change.
Can I change the size of my order / customize dimensions?

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?
Yes you can. Just email us with the change.
Can I make changes after production has started?
This will be decided on a case by case basis and fees could be chargeable for work already completed.
Product & Materials
Can I customise the size of my order?

Are your products made from solid wood?
Our products are made of solid wood and metal, unless otherwise stated.
Will there be natural variations (knots, grain, colour differences)?
Yes. We work with a natural product with the least invasive production techniques available. We keep our furniture as true to its natural state as possible and this invariably means our products contain knots, grain patterns and colour variations within these grain patterns.
How do extensions work? Are they removable / stored within the table?
Most of our table models have extension pieces that need to be stored separately when not in use. Our Oxford extendable table as the extensions stored internally when not in use.
Do extensions require tools / screws to use?
No. They are easy to add and remove.
Care & Maintenance
Will the table stain and how can I prevent staining?
We use OSMO Polyx Oil, a natural hardwax oil that protects the wood from moisture and temperature changes. It is water-resistant, easy to clean, and protects against stains like red wine and coffee. However any harsh cleaning chemicals, acid, paints, children’s toy slime, will
affect the surface, so due care and attention must be taken.
How do I clean and care for the tabletop (daily care)?
A damp sponge is enough for every day cleaning. A neutral soap can be used. Harsh cleaning products and abrasive clothes are to be avoided as they can
affect the surface and cause scratching.
Can I place hot items on the table? Do I need coasters/mats?
We absolutely recommend always to use coasters and place mats. The hardwax oil will protect from some heat so placing a hot coffee cup should not cause damage but due care and attention should be paid.
What should I do if I spill wine/coffee/oil?
Clean the surface of the table with a damp cloth or sponge straightaway. The hardwax oil will protect the surface as long as the spill is not left for longer periods of time.
Will the wood crack/warp over time? How to prevent it? (humidity/heat)
Solid wood naturally responds to humidity and temperature. With normal indoor conditions and basic care, warping or cracking is unlikely. Avoid prolonged high humidity and direct heat sources; excessive humidity may affect the warranty.

Do you offer a warranty? What does it cover?
Each of our products comes with our very own 5-year guarantee.
This guarantee covers the structural integrity of your furniture and all of its components, as well as faults or defects from manufacturing.
What if there is an issue after delivery—how do I contact you and what’s the process?
